Flora is an extremely powerful platform for creating text, images and video with generative AI. At Flora I contributed significant TypeScript code to the both the frontend client and generative AI backend services, as well as worked closely with the design team to conceive and design user interactions and interfaces. Among other things, I:
- Implemented AI image/video upscaling and background removal
- Developed a refreshed hovering toolbar system of custom UI elements, featuring smooth and performant animations with Framer Motion
- Tracked down several deeply-hidden bugs in memoized store selectors and fixed them, resulting in a 10x client performance increase
